Paul Woodward Jr. of ExploreVM was nice enough to invite me onto his podcast. I’ve known Paul for a number of years, and met him through #VirtualDesignMaster. He was also nice enough to have me on his podcast at #VMworld 2017.
For those of you who may not know, I released my first book IT Architect Series: The Journey at VMworld 2017. This book is part of the IT Architect Series, which seeks to provide a reference for IT architects, and in my case, asirping IT architects and anyone who is interested in IT architecture. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed about writing and publishing a book. On the podcast I talk about my book journey (haha, see what I did there?), including how I came up with the idea, how I wrote it, and how I published it. I also talk about what I would do differently if there is a next time.

I hope you take the time to listen to this podcast if you are interested in writing a book, or think you may be interested in it one day. I want to reiterate one point I made during the podcast – writing a book is NOT unobtainable for anyone. If you want to do it, you can.
During the podcast I also talk about my book on becoming an IT architect quite a bit, since right now it is my point of reference. Be sure to follow the book on twitter @ITArchJourney.
Thanks again for having me on, Paul, and if anyone has any questions after listening to the podcast, feel free to reach out.
