I’ve found Microsoft’s increasing involvement inside of different areas, for example, open source, to be extremely interesting. They really seem to have jumped into the cloud arena at the right time, and seem to be doing well, especially with cutting edge open source technologies like Docker. This week on 24×7 IT Connection, I take a look at another area they’ve began to get started in on the open source side.
Microsoft recently announced brand new integration between Windows in Linux in the form of SSH support coming in the not so distant future. Microsoft recently announced on the MSDN blog that the PowerShell team will support, and contribute to the OpenSSH community. We can venture to guess this integration will be invoked by PowerShell, and availability dates have not yet been confirmed.
